Hypnosis and You

Hypnosis and You

Why learn self-hypnosis?

When you utilize the power of your subconscious mind to make desired changes, they become permanent. The results are indisputable and only when you learn and practice self-hypnosis will you be convinced of its power. Making it a part of your daily routine – like brushing your teeth – is all that is required.

How will it benefit me?

There are countless benefits to learning and practicing self-hypnosis techniques. Anything that is not working in your life that you would like to improve upon is the perfect place to begin. You can create a whole “new you” over time.

Is it easy to learn?

Most of us already know what a trance state feels like: we’ve spent countless hours throughout our lives daydreaming. Have you ever been so involved in a good book or a movie that you didn’t pay attention to anything else around you? Or driving in your car and didn’t know how you got to your destination? These are some common trance states we can all relate to. The methods are simple and easy to remember.

What can I achieve with self-hypnosis?

Whatever changes you want to make in your life when properly suggested to the subconscious mind can be realized. The most common uses for hypnosis are: smoking cessation/addictions, weight loss, fears/phobias, self-esteem/self confidence, stress management, childbirth, pain management and emotional healing.

How long will it take to see results?

It has been stated that it takes 21-30 days of conscious repetition to make an automatic habit. If your desire is strong and you make self-hypnosis a daily practice, it could happen rather quickly. Change occurs in stages most of the time.

Is hypnosis dangerous in any way?

Absolutely not! The critical or reasoning factor in our conscious mind is designed to protect us and, therefore, no one can take control of your mind. You cannot be made to do anything against your will either. If you fall asleep during the trance, you will just naturally wake up. It is as simple as that!
