Are We Destined to Experience Illness?
Definitely NOT? The default setting of our physical body is the maintenance of homeostasis; the state of dynamic equilibrium of the internal environment, or “perfect balance”. This exquisitely innate quality of our being includes the capacity for regeneration on all levels. Regeneration automatically returns us to a state of homeostasis, or optimum health. Unless we are unintentionally blocking the process with unhealthy habits of thought, belief, and/or behavior, we are programmed for perfect balance and health.
It can be easy to forget that the physical body is only one aspect of our being – the physical extension of our spiritual, mental, and emotional self. Our culture tends to get caught up in the physical-ness of our daily lives. Living life – by mostly focusing on the outer world and what is beyond the physical self – can distract us from paying enough attention to seeking balance in our inner world. What’s so important about attending to the inner world? This attention can lead us to realizing our unintentional patterns that bring us to disease.
Hypnosis can bring us to clarity about our dis-ease
Our physical body can manifest illness when we are not honoring the messages of the inner self; the source of vital energy that is both our foundation and highest resource. Hypnosis can reveal and clarify what our body and emotions are trying to tell us - that we may be neglecting or ignoring something important within. When we neglect what lies within, we are turning away from optimum health in favor of other pursuits…and sometimes the cost is exorbitant. We can literally sacrifice our health when we choose to align our intentions and attentions with the pressures of social and professional commitments, the demands & expectations of others, fearful illusions, a sense of “not enough”, or denying what truly cultivates our inner harmony, instead of seeking balance & meeting our needs.
Choosing Wellness
Choosing wellness is a simple process of setting a deliberate intention to support, with thoughts, words, and actions, the body’s ability to regenerate itself, and to maintain optimum functioning and health on every level: physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual. When we set the deliberate intention to make vibrant health a priority, we open to and devote our attention toward experiencing those things that facilitate our well-being and produce wellness.

Releasing Unhealthy Habits of Thoughts, Words, & Deeds
We may need help releasing entrenched habits that inhibit our connection and alignment to the inner source of well-being, and this is another instance in which hypnosis can be of tremendous value. When we employ hypnosis to recognize & release stress, trauma, fear, anger, addictions, self-doubt, illusions, and other harmful inner circumstances, we clear away the obstacles that stand in the way of our clarity of intention and attention. Additionally, by utilizing hypnosis to re-align with our true nature, and to entrench new, health-producing patterns of thought, attitude, & behavior, we shift with ease back into balance, harmony, & well-being.
