Kalla Carlton is a Washington state native but has been in the greater Phoenix area since August 2017. Kalla completed her Bachelors in Nursing at Texas Christian University. She then moved back to Washington to attend the University of Washington to obtain her Doctors in Nursing Practice where she specialized in midwifery. Kalla then moved down to Arizona to trade the rain for some sun.Kalla is passionate about the midwifery model of care. She aims to be a clinician that meets her patients where they are and walk beside them to provide the best possible care for their personal needs.In her spare time, Kalla enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and dog. She loves adventure and spending countless hours in the mountains hiking. Her other interests include traveling, backpacking, baking, and snowboarding.
